Cross stitch owls and sentiments and a finished crochet blanket.

Hello everyone,
I thought I would try and squeeze a post in before April arrives goodness it has been whizzing along for me. I have changed jobs which means more hours and while evenings are mostly when I sew I have been so tired that I have fallen asleep in the middle of stitching 😮not a good idea when I am holding the needle.
For those of you who follow me on Instagram I showed a finished  cross stitch pattern by Emma Congdon her website is here

Every one seemed to like this one it was a joy to stitch simply because I loved all the bright colours, it just needs to be framed now.

I have another finish too, well I stitched these owls a little while ago but just hadn't made them into a cushion.

sorry about the blurred picture, this pattern is from CrossStitcher magazine and the design is by Lucie Heaton her website is here

Since I have finished the owls I am on the next project which is a folksy style welcome cross stitch pattern.

This is an old magazine which I picked up from somewhere and I cannot remember it was in my stash of patterns and I thought it was about time I stitched it.

Lastly I finished a simple granny square crochet baby blanket for a family member

just the right size for a pram.
The knitted wrap is still on going too, I am defiantly near to a finish.

That's all for now. Enjoy the rest of your week.

bye for now

Hi Julie,
Just catching up on blog reading!
You have been busy! Nice cross stitch patterns. Have you started the “Welcome” piece yet? It looks a cute pattern.
Lovely to have a finish too!

Hi Barbara, Thank you for your kind words and the visit. I have not been on my the blog for a while and I'm afraid to say not attempted any cross stitch either so I have no update on the Welcome piece. I am knitting and crocheting though and enjoying this journey at the moment. I will update my posts soon.
take care

A lot of work done Julie considering you have changed jobs and must have so little time. The baby´s blanket has turned out really pretty as has the cushion with the cute owls. I also like the pretty colours you have chosen for the Emma Congdon pattern.
